Scrabled Ramble; Blah, Blah, Blah!

I have so many rambling thoughts and negatives floating in my little brain right now, I’, not sure I could keep a cohesive thought long enough to write an entire article. So, bear with me as this is my scramble rant.

I hate taxes and am taxed for everything from gas, tags, cigarettes and groceries to driving on roads and even talking on the phone. Here’s the one tax that urks me the most; the Federal Universal Service Fee on my phone bill. I like how they candy coat it as a “Fee,” as though it’s not a tax. Mandated by the FCC for all major carriers to pay, it is not required for them to pass it on to us. Say, What?! Yeah, a business would never think of passing on the cost of doing business or providing a product to the consumer. Oh, yeah I forgot Politician’s don’t know how to run a business. All they can run is their mouths and usually from both sides. No wonder.

When did “Global Warming” switch to “Climate Change?” I missed the memo somewhere or I wasn’t in the right Bio-Dome when the announcement was made. Warming to change was a definite calculation and likely effective. In August when it’s hot, it’s climate change and February when your tongue gets stuck to the flag pole, it’s climate change. It’s a much broader lie and will cover any and every extreme “Nature” has to offer. Smart move Al Gore, you are a Mr. liar, liar Pants on climate change.

I want less of Obama and more of anything else. Heck, I’ll take the home shopping network. Anything but him! Every channel your turn there’s something about Obama, someone talking about Obama, someone making media love to Obama. Everywhere! When Liberals want to get intimate do they put in a tape of Obama? Now there’s streets named after Obama, television stations called Obama and on and on and on… Please, for the love of God, STOP!!! No more Obama.

I want my McDOnald’s French fries back along with a hamburger which more resembles the “Big Mac.” Why are we having to eat fries that taste like rhino butt? Don’t ask me how I know what that taste like, just trust me on it. I want the government and all these weasel promoting healthy eating to butt (I said butt again, get it?) out. It’s my body and my stomach. This is the real right to choose issue. You tofu lickers, took my burger an made it the size of a flat meatball and took the good fat and made it bad. Please, we are all going to die and I think there’s some history and science on my side when I make that prediction, so let me die happy. You eat what you want and I don’t complain. So, stop with the food magic. I’m hungry.

O.k., all done for now. I feel a little better and hope you didn’t get too upset. See ya!

Biped Bo and the Gravy Train, Un-American?

For those few readers who’ve come for a whiff of humor in our otherwise depressing news driven media, I apologize. Today, I’m hitting on all of us. If I offend anyone; good!

“A humble man can hear the subtle rumble in the distance. His heart pound mightily for he knows the time has come. He, like those who come upon him shall with honor and purest of heart step upon the path which leads American’s back to America; a land known as the greatest land and people in the history of humanity. Damned will be those who want anything less.”
C.B. Stiggins

Much like the main stream media’s inference that Biped Bo was somehow entitled to the Presidency, America too has embraced the entitlement mentality. Being Black no more paved the road to the white house any more than being poor paves the road to free living. There is and always has been a certain level of sacrifice on the part of individuals to make a living. Those who fall short however have come to expect us to kick in so they can provide for themselves and their families.

The problem arises however, not when we offer assistance to these “unfortunate” but when they have an expectation of a certain standard of living to go along with it. A car, a house large enough for them and the multiple children, food, medical, electricity, phone, internet, bussing, schools and more are all expected and provided. They will work a part time job to supplement the freebies we provide and use that for things like cable, beer, clothes and whatever else they would generally want. Then, at the end of the year and based on the number of kids they get a huge tax “refund.” Free money? Where’s the incentive to work, to improve ones self, and to get off the working man’s gravy train?

Fact is, there is no reason or incentive to do anything but the minimum required to either stay on the train or to ensure the ride never ends. These same people to include illegal immigrants will also receive Social Security benefits when they decide to retire from retirement. The entire Welfare and Social Security system runs against what is quintessentially American. Our forefathers didn’t give us anything more than a clean slate from which to chisel our destiny’s from. If someone didn’t work, they didn’t eat. All they had to do was pick up a shovel to help a neighbor tend his land to earn a hot meal and if lucky to sleep in the barn. There was nothing more dishonorable than to not do a hard days work for a hard days pay.

As generations past and America matured, being American was synonymous with the American Dream. Where anyone could take an idea, muddle up a little ambition and add a little sweat to get to where they could achieve all their dreams. Simple as they were, a house, a family, good job and food on the table, it was and still is a working man’s idea of success. So, how did we get from working for what you have to getting what everyone else has for nothing?

We did it. Those who work everyday, pay their taxes on time, provide for their families and obey the law are the ones who let all this happen. We do not vote, are not actively involved in our communities and do not convey a unified and collective dissatisfaction for what we’ve let the government and society become. There was a time when town folk let it be known when someone wasn’t welcome in their town. When someone did something wrong, it was known by all and shamed was the person who did the wrong. Today, there is no shame. No way of seeding the expectations of what a man is, what a woman is and much less, what it means to be a part of a community.

Our children are taught by strangers. Most by those with ideals which may be counter to our own. For 12 years our children are indoctrinated into a society which rewards minimal and denies nothing. Fist fights to settle a disagreement are considered felonies, questioning a teacher is a sin and tattling on your parents for perceived grievances is mandatory. We have allowed ourselves to be weakened and it will take decades to get our America back. It will take us all to get rid of the Biped Bo’s, freeloading Welfare gravy train riders and re-instill a willingness and demand by society to know the difference between what id right and what is wrong.

The recent Tea Parties was but a flicker in the night of the fire that will soon follow as American’s who love their families, care for their country and work hard as a matter of principal, become a fire. The night will be lit as though day and the roar that is rage will be heard around the world. No more we will sacrifice our country to those who are not willing to work, fight or die for her.

More Tea Parties will follow and more people will rise to the occasion. It is a sad day when the majority of people must stand up against a few in a display of discontent. But, our failure to stand will force our children to sit. We must let our voices be heard and let our message be imprinted into the history of our country. What will our Grandchildren say of us if, when their time comes, they are able to say anything at all. Be strong, be tall and be loud. Be American.

I’ll be back tomorrow. God Bless You!

Kiwi; El Mucho Cheapo

Today at Wal-Mart, that ever so easy target of left wing capitalism haters, my wife came across something very disturbing. Before I delve too deep into this, I want to first say, that my Redneck Target (Wal-Mart) is a life saver and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Rosetta Stone beware, non-Spanish speaking America or Gringo’s who shop there are learning subliminal Spanish faster than you can say Ole’. That’s Espanola for yee haw! But, buyer beware because we are being hoodwinked.

While perusing the produce section that’s as big as the St Peter for some succulent fruit, my wife came across the Kiwi. Never to be outdone by any small country, they even had a choice. Two to be exact. One was from here in the good ‘ol US of A and the other from our Southernly neighbor, Mexico. I couldn’t believe it at first. I thought all we got from Mexico was immigrants, Cartel’s and MS-13. They are that innocuous little club who get together every now or then to mutilate people. Oh yeah and we also get, Mexican’s; lots of them. But, there was something unibrow raising. Sorry, pictured Rosey looking at fruit. Which in itsel is a fairy tale. She likes the fatty stuff.

The kiwi from Mexico cost $0.33 each. A mighty enticing price for sure. Then, looking at the kiwi from our country the price was higher. Much, higher. It cost $3.97 for four. Hmm? American kiwi, almost a dollar each while el Mexico is 60% cheaper. To be fair, Mexican fruit picker in the US probably get paid better then their southern counterparts so the cost would certainly be absorbed by the consumer. But it begs to question, why does our fruit cost more here to us while Mexican fruit which has to dragged across the border, cost less? Labor cost, or favoritism?

I can’t believe it would be the result of favoritism. But, then what else would it be. Is our Government trying to put our farmers out of business? If so, for what purpose? To find the answer to those questions, are not as elusive as they may seem on the surface and they can be found by someone if they just looked. Sorry, that’s not what I do. I’m kind of like the mainstream media, gruff, fluff and stuff. The facts are just details too inane to worry about. So, I will pose the question to Wal-Mart. Why are you selling Mexican produce cheaper than our own and why don’t you put a preference in buying our products to help our businesses? Hello? Mr. Mart…, hmm, nothing to say?

It is sad to see one of the largest stores in the world who has the buying power of Bill Gates and Warren Buffets baby on steroids, to not have the wherewithal to stick it to the importers. On one hand, it’s basic economics. They are driven by their customer base and the demand for cheaper products. On the other, they are also a business born out of the opportunity which America offers. Yet, the fabric from which they were woven is also the opportunity they keep from our Mom & Pops. Small stores sparring with Wal-Mart leave bloodied and broke. A Sumo wrestler could wear a horse jockey as a G-string. Not a pretty sight for sure, but hey, it makes a point. My wife opted for the American kiwi and I am proud of her for her choice. She also bought taco’s, burrito wraps and guacamole. Yee Haw!

Swine Flu, Fear, Panic and Universal Healthcare

Rom Emanuel said, “Never let a crisis go to waste.” So, we can fully expect the Swine Flu which has killed less people in the past week than people falling out of Indonesian Apricot trees, to be the launching pad of Healthcare reform. I don’t know for sure if there is such a tree, but I am confident, if there is, people could have fallen to their deaths stealing it’s succulent fruit. It still remains that we are being led to believe that we are one alarm shy of being fat and center (didn’t want to use dead center, too macabre) of a global Pandemic. Obama’s team is assembled and the pieces are falling into place. All we need is fear. And lots of it.

For nearly a week the media, which incidentally happened to overwhelmingly support, ehem, Mr. Obama, have been steadily ramping up it’s efforts to grind into our impressionable simple minds that the Swine Flu is scary. Very scary. Flights to Mexico have been diverted, cruise ship’s re-routed, travelers canceling long time vacation plans and Chinese paper mask manufacturers have started hiring by the thousands, are all the result of the media’s relentless attack. It was today when we had the first, let me repeat, t-h-e first death in the U.S. It doesn’t matter they were in the U.S. from Mexico to seek medical attention. It only matters it happened HERE! Run! We’re all going to DIE!!!

The message may be subliminal but it’s there. All this hype is meant to let people know that just like the economic crisis, only the government can protect us. They are the only ones big enough to produce enough vaccine to save American from certain death. Or, at least the 2 or 3 who may be in danger. They are the only ones with enough resources to organize treatment for masses of scared sheep flocking to get the cure. They are the only ones who can speak to a nation to instill calm and reassurance during a time of such crisis. Yet, so far the best they have done for us is to tell us to wash our hands and if we feel sick, stay home. Wash my hands? Done! Now what all mighty and knowing government?

We are being led down a dark and precarious path where our government has unilaterally decided we the American people are too stupid, too weak and too poor to fend for ourselves. This crisis will undoubtedly lead to universal healthcare. Thusly, just as we will be told the type of cars we like and can drive, how much employees should be paid and when we can use our government ration of electricity, we will also be at their whim for all our medical decisions. Imagine the implications of such a change.

Who will get cancer treatment? If you’re too old or too sick, will you be told to go home and die so someone else younger or with a higher social status can have the bed? Universal healthcare is nothing more than Socialized medicine. Rationing and typical government red tape hindering Doctors who will be paid by the government will be dictated to as to the types of treatment to render and who to treat will be rampant. Politicians running anything is scary enough, but when they politicize our healthcare, now that’s is scary.

So, get ready as Obama heeds the drum beat of his buddy Rom and launches the biggest missile in his Socialist arsenal and drops it square on us all. The Swine Flu is an inane if not innocuous virus. But the media, still in their euphoric state of seeing their man in the White House is in bed with him and are complicit in making us all believe it is more, much more. Simplify all the hype and read into the message being conveyed. Yes, people are sick, but even the White House has said, just wash your hands. More importantly, do not climb Indonesian Apricot trees.
